Why will the new formula for interior design consultations help you save your marriage?
New Formula for Interior Design Consultations
Interior design is an artistic profession that requires substantial technical knowledge, a wealth of experience related to material properties, practical knowledge of their application, awareness of material innovations, and trends. If we are working on interiors in classical or historical spaces, historical knowledge is also crucial. In interactions with clients, especially those seeking consultation, my role resembles a buffer and oracle between two conflicting aesthetic perspectives.
It is highly beneficial to have someone who can help resolve dilemmas and disputes, which are inevitable when designing something to satisfy multiple individuals. Since we launched interior consultation services, a majority of our clients are those who know how to implement their specific aesthetic preferences and have favorite materials. However, they may lack motivation and confirmation that they are heading in the right direction and that their efforts will be successful. This is where experience and the ability to anticipate the future aesthetic outcomes of an investment come into play.
And this is where we excel. Years of practice have taught us how to avoid stalemates in interiors while highlighting what truly matters to us. We know how to create safe interiors, but also how to be bold without facing failure.
In situations where two opposing opinions exist, a verifier or someone who takes responsibility for the final result is highly recommended.
Building a house or renovating an apartment requires making constant decisions throughout the entire process; some find it enjoyable and can navigate it well, but for many, it is an exhausting process. After weeks of challenging questions from the team, purchasing choices, and site visits, one can simply feel worn out. We take on this burden through design consultations, allowing clients in many cases to manage the investment and return to their normal professional and social lives.
Your Dreams Become Reality
It is easier to pursue our dreams with support and confirmation that our thinking makes sense and will prove successful. The realization of our dreams doesn’t necessarily have to heavily strain the household budget.
Starting points for such projects vary greatly; I have often encountered collectors, owners of rich collections of lamps, antiques, and paintings.
In these cases, projects focused on how to arrange the space so that the objects we care about are optimally placed and become part of the owners’ lives, not just exhibits.
