Mies van der Rohe Award Nomination from Poland in 2014


-In 2014 Szultk architecture was again a nominee from Poland for the Mies van der Rohe Award. This time for the Centre for the Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor Cricoteka. Mies van der Rohe is the most important European architectural award. This is a very prestigious award, because the prize is awarded every two years to European architects for outstanding projects and the winner receives 50,000 euros. This is not the first nomination for a project  from Krakow. For this award in the year 2011 it was appointed to the new building of the Polish Aviation in Krakow. In the previous ten editions of the competition  only projects from the area of Western Europe have won.
